DOWNLOAD MY NEW SONG & SUPPORT RESEARCH FOR LUPUS

If you didn't know, I am a person living with Systematic Lupus. On June 5th, I'll be doing the WALK FOR LUPUS in Northern NJ and I need your support. I could have just asked you to go the walk's donation page, but I had a cooler idea. What better way to raise money, but to give you a gift for doing so!

I'm releasing an awesome version of my latest poem/song called Crushing Hard (produced by JahRockin Productions). To get it, all I ask is that you purchase the song for at LEAST $1. I hope you can donate more ($10 would be great to donate). Don't look at it as you're paying $10 for a song. You're paying $10 for a good cause and getting a song in the process. :)

DOWNLOAD "CRUSHING HARD"  and DONATE at www.shanellegabriel.com/lupus.

All proceeds are going to the Alliance for Lupus Research, not to me. You will be recognized for your donation.

If you don't want the song but wish to donate directly via the ALR Site, you can go here:
http://walk.lupusresearch.org/goto/shanellegabriel

Lastly, if you wish to help me fundraise & walk for this great cause, please join my Team Creative Movement at:
http://walk.lupusresearch.org/goto/creativemovement2010.

Thanks for the support! As always, check my schedule for shows near you!

Stay Blessed!

A Triathalon for Cancer (In the memory of Caroline Clark)

My friend Yelixsa Mattehews is participating in an endurance event as a member of Leukemia & Lymphoma Society's (LLS) Team in Training. They are raising funds through a Triathlon to help stop Leukemia, Lymphoma, Hodgkin, and Myeloma from taking more lives. She is completing this event in honor of Caroline Clark, someone who touched ours hearts deeply and made us appreciate life so much more. Neither of us knew Caroline for long. She shared a few classes with me (including self-defense class where we were frequent sparring partners.) However, in the short time we knew Caroline during our years at Utica College of Syracuse University, she made a great impact on our lives. Her presence could fill an empty room, her smiles were contagious and her story inspired everyone that heard it. On February 5th , 2005 Caroline Clark passed away from Leukemia; she fought until the end, she tried until the end. Athough she is now gone, her memory will forever live in the hearts of all of those who knew her.

Caroline Clark (R.I.P. We love you!)
I am so grateful to Yelixsa (or Yelly and she is affectionately known) for making this commitment in honor of such a great person and to help many others who may suffer or be afflicted by this disease. I am asking that you support her endeavor by donating at least $25 to her cause. If you can't do $25, any amount will do. Her competition is on May 8th, so you have a few weeks to donate.
