“Kinda Love” feat. D Woods Music Video

Kinda Love…. After listening to all of the dialogue on what love looks like, what people should expect/deal with/tolerate, I wrote “Kinda Love.”

Produced by the usual suspects aka Chris Belmont of JahRockn Productions, I pulled my fav bass player, Nate Jones on Bass, into the studio to make the bass really pop. (He’s also featured on each of the Black Girl Literacies poems on my album Things I Need to Remember). After remembering in depth convos we’d had during our hang outs, I reached out to my sis, D. Woods (singer/songwriter/actress and former member of Danity Kane), to help me figure out what tha hook was gonna be. She came up with a great melody and harmony. Add all these elements and this song was born. Hope you enjoy it!
